It is with pleasure that I write to recommend Doug Eglington for a full-time teaching position with your institution. Doug has been part of the adjunct faculty here at Immaculate College for only a year, but he has already established a reputation as a strong, knowledgeable, student-centered teacher, respected by students and faculty.

Doug came to us in answer to a need for someone to teach Web-page design, and he filled that position admirably. His student evaluations were very good, a response to his highly capable and enthusiastic approach to his teaching. He has remained with us, though, to teach other courses as well, including a statistic course for our accelerated degree completion program. Doug demonstrates both versatility and flexibility that make him an asset in teaching business, computer science, and introductory mathematics courses. He sincerely enjoys teaching and seeks to opportunity to pursue a full-time teaching career. To that end he is continuing his own education, expanding his expertise.

Doug has been a welcome addition to our faculty and I am sure he will be a strong addition to your full-time faculty
